Single Hoop Workshop- Put Your Hands Behind Your Back: Unlocking Handcuff Position
In this workshop, your hoop is officially under arrest! We will explore playful single hoop moves based on the surprisingly versatile handcuff position, where both hands are behind your back, palms facing away. You will come away with totally unique ways to serve smooth flow (instead of hard time). In her flow, Danielle discovered this position to be an ideal place of connection and possibility and a way to approach some familiar moves in a brand new way. Bring your favorite off-body hoop and get ready to lock in and break out… hands behind your back!
Double Hoop Workshop- Twin Intersections
The vesica piscis is the shape created by overlapping two hoops, similar to what a Venn diagram looks like. We’ll begin by investigating where this intersecting shape commonly appears in hoop dance, and then learn then learn a load of Danielle's favorite moves on this theme through a long combo. The best part? You can have zero experience with two hoops, or you could have been playing with twins for years. This workshop is for absolutely everyone who wants to play with twins more.
