What People Are Saying

I highly recommend Danielle from Hoop Elation for your next library event. My library hosted her for the kickoff to our summer library challenge and it was the best way for us to start! Her program is engaging, fun and kept everyone’s attention. Through a variety of music and activities with the hoop, Danielle kept the program moving and everyone smiling from ear to ear. Danielle is well organized, kind and very, very easy to work with. She went as far as providing marketing materials that were easy to customize for our event! Jack Russell Memorial Library in Hartford will gladly invite Hoop Elation back for another program.

Danielle is full of energy, and she puts on a fabulous show! Both our kid and adult patrons enjoyed watching her hula hooping demonstration as well as trying all the different tricks. Danielle was clear and concise; she talked with the kids, not at them. Danielle’s presentation had a nice pace, and all the participants were engaged for the entire time. She also incorporated games into her program which were really fun, and her music playlist was fantastic. The whole program fit the summer reading theme perfectly. We would definitely have Danielle back again!

We had Danielle Lee and her Hoop Elation program at Jane Morgan Memorial Library in Cambria on July 6 of 2022. Danielle is amazing to work with. She has great communication and pending bad weather, was willing to reschedule to make it work. We had a lovely day in the park for her program with about 50 people attending. Her program is fun and active! The kids had a great time watching Danielle show off her skills with tricks and tips for hula hooping. Then it was time for everyone to get a hula hoop and practice some skills. The activities she had the group do were easily enjoyed by our preschoolers all the way up to our grandparents. Everyone was participating! The entire 45 minute program was engaging and fun. Many comments were made by how much they loved it. We are looking forward to having another Hoop Elation program in the future!

Please accept my highest recommendation of Danielle Lee as a performer for your group. As the library director and the head of youth services at the Edgerton Public Library, I have worked with many, many performers over the years. I would only offer this recommendation if it were completely honest and sincere!

Danielle gave our audience a hoop performance and then taught everyone a series of hoop tricks. She was so professional in her presentation and had the ability to engage everyone in the audience from the youngest child to the oldest adult. We all felt empowered and skilled when the program was over.

From our earliest communications in the spring to the day of the show in July, Danielle was also wonderful to work with. We had an audience of about 75 people with all ages in attendance. Danielle made this such an easy program for me to coordinate and it was such a hit with our patrons. I look forward to working with her again and I have no hesitation in recommending her to work with libraries, schools, or any other type of group.

Danielle visited the Kewaskum Public Library in the Summer of 2022 to share her Hoop Elation program with our community and I highly recommend her for all libraries. She was very easy to work with and willing to adapt to an indoor venue due to a hot summer day. Danielle was flexible and understanding with scheduling as well, offering to reschedule if we preferred to have it outside.

The program was entertaining, funny and a huge hit with everyone who attended. The show Danielle performed at the beginning was so cool and had everyone mesmerized. The tricks she showed the kids and had them perform were accessible for all ages and skill levels. Danielle did a fantastic job interacting with the kids and her wonderful enthusiasm for hula hooping was infectious. We can’t wait to invite Danielle back to Kewaskum sometime in the future!
